Are you looking for an investment opportunity for the money released from a government bond or term deposit? Then a branch 26 capitalization product is definitely worth considering. Insurer Securex Leven offers a fixed gross return of 26% for a three-year period, or 3,60% for a five-year period, with Securex Invest 3,75.
Last year, many savers reinvested their released money from the so-called Van Peteghem government bonds in new government bonds or term deposits. These are investments with a guaranteed interest rate.
Many of these funds are now being released. Although interest rates have fallen, attractive savings options are still available. For example, Securex offers the Securex Invest 26 capitalization product. This is an agreement in which the insurer guarantees that it will pay the saver an interest payment at the end of the agreed term, along with the repayment of the capital.
Securex Invest 26 is very similar to a capitalization certificate. For private investors, the interest is subject to a 30% withholding tax, just like with term deposits, government bonds, or savings certificates. This withholding tax is final, meaning the interest no longer needs to be included in the tax return.
Legal entities, such as companies, can also investing in such a branch 26 savings plan. For them, the withholding tax is deductible from corporate income tax.
Legally speaking, a branch 26 capitalization bond is not insurance, unlike branch 21 and branch 23 products. The major advantage is that there is no 2% insurance tax at the outset. However, please note that since there is no policyholder, insured, or beneficiary with branch 26, it is advisable to make arrangements for death.
