The research shows an interesting discrepancy between the most downloaded apps and the highest rated apps. Apps like Teletext and ChatGPT are not in the top 20 of the most downloaded apps in the Netherlands, but are the leaders in the ranking of highest rated apps.
On the other hand, social media apps that are downloaded frequently are not among the best-rated apps. Crucial to a high user rating are factors such as 'making life easier' and 'delivering great content'.
When looking at the factor 'making life easier', Rabobank scores surprisingly higher than ING. The cooperative sofa is in fourth place with 77 points, while ING is in sixth place with 76 points.
However, when all factors (nine in total) are taken into account, ING ultimately comes out ahead of Rabobank. ING achieves a total score of 75; two points more than Rabobank, which is in 73th place with 14 points. Tikkie, the payment app of ABN AMRO, is in 72th place with 18 points.
