Your guide through the digital universe
Somewhere between the lines of code and the rhythm of blockchain, where curiosity and technology met. In that world, Block#9 was born – a new kind of news space, born out of wonder at the digital revolution unfolding before our eyes.
It was in the early days of Bitcoin — when most people still dismissed it as a temporary internet phenomenon — that I decided to take a chance. I bought my very first bitcoins via the then relatively unknown platform Bitstamp.
At first glance, that purchase seemed like nothing more than a simple transaction. But under the hood of the blockchain, something extraordinary was happening: my purchase was recorded in Block #9 — one of the very first blocks after the so-called Genesis Block, the very first block ever mined on the Bitcoin network.
That one transaction, stored deep in digital history, was the beginning of a long-term fascination with blockchain technology. Now years later, when I decided to build this platform around digital innovation and finance, I thought back to that symbolic moment.
Block#9 is not your average news site. It is a lookout post in a world that never sleeps. As prices fluctuate, blockchains evolve and new tokens emerge, we stand at the edge of the digital universe – with our eyes on the TOP10 digital assets by market cap, the major exchanges, crypto mining and the emerging crypto ETFs that are bringing traditional and digital finance closer together.
And so it became Block #9 born: a tribute to early beginnings, a nod to blockchain, and most importantly a place for people who — like me then — are curious enough to explore the future. It is a symbol of the early days, of pioneering, of having the courage to believe in something big early, and of the power of technology writing history — block by block.
