French real estate company Entreparticuliers has its shares by as much as 800% after announcing a strategic move to accumulate Ethereum. Shares of French real estate platform Entreparticuliers have seen an impressive jump of more than 800% in the past week after the company announced it would transform into an Ethereum Treasury Company. The company’s value rose to around €23,44 million (about $25,78 million) as a result, up from around €1,35 million in January. That’s a whopping increase of more than 1.800%, according to data from Google Finance.
In a press release on Monday, the company informed the market that it has launched a purchase program for an initial tranche of €1 million worth of Ethereum (ETH), funded by majority shareholder Stéphane Romanyszyn. Because who wouldn't want that magical digital gold in his wallet?
In order to support the further growth of this strategic Ethereum reserve, Entreparticuliers has announced the structuring of various financial instruments aimed at professional investors and financial partners. However, the company and Romanyszyn have ruled out the use of “excessively dilutive instruments such as equity lines”. In other words: no unnecessary risks are taken!
The company’s further capital investments are subject to approval at the annual general meeting on June 18, with resolutions covering up to €150 million in financing. This appears to be a promising step forward.
Founded in 2000 by Stéphane Romanyszyn, Entreparticuliers has historically operated as a property search platform since its listing on Euronext Growth in 2007. The platform connects private individuals to buy, sell or rent real estate without intermediaries.
The move is part of a broader transformation. According to the company’s crypto-focused website, it is transforming from “a real estate platform to a pioneer in digital finance, real estate tokenization and asset management.” It is positioning itself as a gateway to “simple and regulated exposure to Ethereum via a publicly traded stock on Euronext Growth.”
The company’s new direction seems to be focused on ETH investments, staking, and building tokenization tools for real-world assets like real estate and bonds. “It’s time to completely reinvent the future of finance!”
